“Exceptionally gifted and talented. Draws out our needs, desires and wishes without shading. We are EXTREMELY happy and pleased with her work. My husband and I cannot express how gifted she is. He was skeptical at first but he constantly sings her praises.
We invited her into our home to help us select a paint color for our interestingly shaped living room. We had just changed the floors from dark hardwood to light hardwood and the old color did not work. Also, we have a dark corner.
She got to know us. She learned our needs and desires and was amazed that she looked/examined our home – the entire house – to understand it and us – the lighting, configuration and unchangeable items.
She then asked me about 2 different color families – one I did not care for so we worked with the other – She started determining the color from our KITCHEN – I was amazed – I would have started out with the Living room area – but she started from an area where we had unchangeable things – such as the color of our tile floor, cabinet colors and our granite countertop.
Let me tell you – our Kitchen finally looks complete and cohesive. It looks professional and very, very comfortable. We feel so much more comfortable in our home when friends stop by. Also, the color that we selected did wonders for our stone fireplace.
My husband and I have called her at times just to tell her how pleased we are. I have to admit – it has taken me time to adjust to the color – I am very slow to change but the pleasure in her works grows all the time. She has also helped us select new furniture — and the biggest thing was the color and fabric selection.
We have a painting in the living room that we love and wanted to highlight– before it was hidden with the many conflicting colors that we had – and the new furniture now accents the painting. She also came to help us ‘polish’ up – placing our furniture and accessories in the right areas and picking up a few more but with a color & height scheme in mind while removing some items that did not work.
She gave me the encouragement to replace a mantel that was lopsided and twisted. I was very afraid of the project but after seeing and experiencing all her wonderful work – we braved ahead – the change in mantel completely enhanced our living space. When she would come, I would take notes and then did as she said. She lovingly let us take the changes at our pace. But – She was RIGHT on all the changes.
We value her opinion and even asked her about our outdoor window shutters. The house now is much more pleasing to our eyes.
I also need to mention that she stayed within our budget.
